Glenn has a Master’s Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford, a Bachleor’s in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT and a Minor in Creative Writing. His experience spans work in semiconductor manufacturing to the research & development of new designs in the laboratory holding 2 engineering patent designs. He has taught at DeAnza Community college and is an active volunteer at The Crucible in Oakland. Glenn has always had a passion for math and science. Coming from a family of engineers and teachers his approach to tutoring stems from ensuring anyone can understand the basic principles. He is patient and understanding of the difficulties in wrapping ones head around a problem. In his spare time, he likes to travel, hike and is an avid fan of board games and sci-fi/fantasy. He also is a beginning woodworker, a soccer fan and likes to reminisce about his college days in fencing. He is a dog person having 3 miniature dachshunds.
