Gabriel N.
Gabriel attended The University of Manchester in the England, where he recently graduated with an Honors Master’s Engineering Degree (MEng) in Material Science Engineering with Textile Technology. During his last year of University, he focused his individual dissertation work on textile technology and was among the first to construct and evaluate an energy harvesting device on textile fabrics using thermoelectric conductive polymers. Additionally, for his group project, he was a recipient of the Best Management Project for the School of Materials Degree Show 2019, in which him and his group proposed and created a business venture to construct and produce organic solar photovoltaics in a more sustainable manner. Gabriel is a Tri-Valley local, where he attended Las Positas College for 3 years before transferring overseas. During his time at community college he worked as a tutor; working privately, at his community college and for at risk youth organizations. Throughout, he has helped students of different ages, levels and learning capabilities; focusing on math, chemistry, physics, Spanish and writing. As an individual who has overcome adversity, helping and being an inspiration to others succeed is one of the many things Gabriel is passionate about. Aside from academia, Gabriel enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family, traveling the worlds, cooking, writing music, singing and playing sports
