Francesca Blake is a UC Santa Barbara alum, where she graduated with High Honors and Bachelor’s degrees in English and Psychology. After graduating, she worked various roles at Contra Costa School of Performing Arts, starting as a long-term substitute and ending as an Education Specialist. There, she taught self-contained special education English classes at the middle school and high school levels. Francesca is an avid reader who usually reads at least 30 to 40 books per year, and loves tutoring for any subjects related to English (including help with college essays, help with reading comprehension, or general essay-writing for regular or AP courses). She can also help with middle school subjects, History at any grade level, and AP Psychology. She aspires to let her students know that they CAN DO IT with time, effort, and a little confidence! In her spare time, Francesca loves singing in San Francisco’s Fog City Harmonia, nerding out over musical theatre (Heathers, anyone?), learning Italian (piacere), and writing stories (she has a full-length novel published on Inkitt)! If you look closely, you may also find Francesca working as an extra on several TV series and movies on Netflix.
