Tara is currently finishing up the final steps for her Bachelors in Education for early childhood, with a focus on Foundation Phase Education. She is very passionate about the English language including Colonial and post-colonial English, Poetry, reading and writing (from essays, articles, dialogues, and portfolios, as well as how to teach reading utilizing various methods. She also enjoys tutoring biology, geography, mathematics, history, and ESL. Tara has great study skills and loves to teach her students top study skills, engaging both the left and right sides of the brain for a powerful impact. With a combination of teaching and tutoring for over 5 years, she loves to see her students succeed and become passionate and confident in themselves and their capabilities. Being from South Africa means Tara loves and lives for the outdoors. When not tutoring, Tara’s perfect day involves sunshine along with animals, mountains, and a fresh sea breeze.

Rebecca has an Associates Degree in Social Science and is working towards a BS in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She has lead ESL conversation classes to international students and tutored college students in English to improve their grammar and word choice. Additionally, Rebecca works as a Saturday School teacher in San Francisco, teaching German language and culture to the elementary school students. Her hobbies include swimming, reading, learning new languages, and baking sweet treats. She enjoys helping students attain their goals through encouragement, patience, and inspiring them to be the best version of themselves.

Kelsey earned her Bachelor’s degree in History and minored in English and Business at Texas A&M University, where she also held elected positions in Alpha Phi Omega, a service organization on campus. As a credentialed teacher, Kelsey taught History for several years  in Houston, Texas. She is passionate about making U.S. and world history enjoyable to learn, and loves also teaching English and reading. Kelsey also enjoys tutoring mathematics, science, geography, and ESL. She enjoys crafting engaging lessons that incorporate different learning styles for the benefit of all students. A native Texan, Kelsey enjoys exploring the Bay Area with her fiancé and dog. In her spare time, she loves going on walks with her dog Olive, reading historical books, and experimenting with new recipes at home.
