Sandra holds a Doctorate degree in Psychology and Education from Aalborg University in Denmark, in addition to a Medical Doctor degree. She has 15+ years of experience teaching biology, anatomy, physiology and psychology subjects to students of all ages and backgrounds. Sandra uses an interactive and engaging method of teaching that is derived from the “Problem Based Learning” school of teaching. This method helps students develop the needs skills and competencies in addition to gaining the knowledge they need to succeed in their education. Sandra worked as the Provost of American Tech and Management University and of Austin University and she uses her expertise in higher education to help students apply and get accepted in top tier universities in the Bay Area. During her free time, Sandra volunteers in her local community charity projects like organizing trips and activities to visit seniors in the area and providing free career counseling sessions to young adults. Sandra also enjoys hiking, swimming, traveling, reading and a number of outdoor activities.

Helory is currently a seasoned college student studying to become a registered dietitian, which involves a cross-disciplinary study of mathematics, science and writing. She love to tutor Biology (including AP), Chemistry, English (including AP), essay writing, grammar, History, Anatomy, Spanish levels 1-3, and Math up to Algebra 1. She has years of experience tutoring middle school students for all subjects, including math, history, writing, reading comprehension, science and Spanish. She aspires to teach students of all ages, especially high school to share her knowledge of life sciences and English. Her goal is to help students gain a better understanding and insight on a subject at a deeper level. This will help them build their knowledge with a strong basis. She looks forward to meeting all of you! In her time, Helory loves to do gymnastics and dance. She also enjoys baking and trying new restaurants.

Kristen has a Masters degree in inorganic chemistry from San Francisco State University, where she also earned her bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a minor in mathematics. Her previous work at UCSF and the Veterans Medical Center SF focused on using new technologies to sequence gene mutations in HIV and cancer cells. She also volunteers her time with Breast Cancer Action, a non-profit organization that aims to reduce Breast Cancer through environmental activism. In her spare time she knits, reads fantasy novels and spends time on her sailboat with her dog.

She has lead ESL conversation classes to international students and tutored college students in English to improve their grammar and word choice. Additionally, Rebecca works as a Saturday School teacher in San Francisco, teaching German language and culture to the elementary school students. Her hobbies include swimming, reading, learning new languages, and baking sweet treats. She enjoys helping students attain their goals through encouragement, patience, and inspiring them to be the best version of themselves.

Pushpinder (Push) has Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and is an international medical graduate holding an MD degree. While completing his undergraduate program in the Bay Area, Push tutored his peers in the area of Math & Science subjects and has excelled in the previous professional teaching positions that he has held in the past. Push has over 8+ years of experience teaching K-12 and college level students in biology, chemistry, physics, anatomy, physiology, microbiology, medical science, and math subjects all the way to precalculus. Outside of common core teaching, Push works in the clinical research side of medicine that helps with developing new drugs for cancer patients and enjoys being able to work alongside his scientist and physician peers while assisting students within the academic space. During free time, Push loves spending time with family, traveling with his parents, wife, and daughter, hiking, and being in nature.
