Patricia has a Ph.D. in Neuroscience (Hons.) from the University of Heidelberg, Germany, a Master’s degree in Biochemistry, University of Hannover, Germany and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology (Hons.) from the University of Messina, Italy. As a scientist, she has worked around the world in both academic and pharmaceutical positions where she greatly enjoyed mentoring high school, undergraduate, graduate students and research associates. Patricia enjoys working with students very much, she has a positive attitude and a passion to assist and motivate struggling learners. She finds, from her own experience, that people learn things differently and at different paces; when students struggle with a subject, it's usually because their learning style conflicts with the style or pace with which it is being taught. Tutoring one on one gives the opportunity to learn at the student's optimal pace. In her free time, Patricia enjoys traveling, playing tennis, swimming, playing piano and taking long walks with her dogs.
